About this group

Hi everyone,

I am looking to form a group of of concerned people who wish to assist me in implenting ideas to put forward to the government for consideration for framing in their guidelines for new legislation in regards to road safety.

I envisage holding a meeting of all interested people in the next few weeks. I will arrange a venue and the agenda for the meeting direction.

I want it to be a relaxed and friendly gathering with a little bit of formality in order of getting through the business. I will be chairing the meeting and looking for some good ideas and input from the assembled people.

Please contact me with your intention to attend and support this meeting via email:

When:  Sunday the 27th of June 2010

Where: Pooraka Memorial Hall, 39 Scott Street, Pooraka

Time: 2pm

Why: The purpose of the meeting is to share some of the traumatic experiences people have suffered and endured as a result of road trauma and ways in which we can possibly address some of the many issues that confront us on a regular basis in our day to day commuting and in doing so try and reduce the road toll.

I will be chairing the meeting and our findings will be made known to the Road Safety Minister.

Some of the people attending will be families that have suffered grief at the loss of a loved one from the Journey Beyond Road Trauma group.

I have invited Adelaide Thinker in Residence Professor Fred Wegman as the keynote speaker and MLC Robert Brokenshire to share with us his driver training program which is held on his private property.

Yours faithfully,

Peter Panagaris
